3 months in Asia - omg

Let's get out of here for a while, maybe back to Hoi An, my husband suggested many months ago. When I was finally ready - things come to you when you're ready - our itinerary filled itself.

We agreed on the start time, early February, and the duration of our trip, 3 months. Pretty quickly after that we got an offer from Singapore Airlines for Singapore. Singapore? We have wonderful memories. So checked.

Our daughter-in-law is Taiwanese and travels to Taipei every year at the turn of the year. She would start her journey later this time for our benefit. How about CNY/Chinese New Year, she asks? Perfect. Second destination checked - Taipei. Afterwards we will be in Vietnam, our original destination.

So the route will look like this: 4 days Singapore, 8 days Taipei. Afterwards we will view apartments in Hoi An to rent one for March and April. If this is hopefully successful, we will fly to Hanoi to tour the tourist attractions in the north of Vietnam: Halong Bay, Sa Pa and of course Hanoi itself.

After this itinerary had been set, my brother came and expressed his wish to finally visit Hong Kong with his family, during the Easter holidays, which would be the end of March / beginning of April in this year. By this time we will hopefully be in an apartment in Hoi An, so only about an hour flight from Hong Kong. Easy decision to also include my home-city into our tour.

It's cool how fate sometimes plays into your hands.

With this blog I will report about our trip, again. This time I will not only share stories about our experiences, but also hotels, restaurants, exciting shops and food with you.
